Identify Your Skin Type

The first step while creating a personalized skincare routine is to identify your skin type. This will assess the daily steps to be taken and the appropriate products to use. a. Dry/Sensitive Skin

  • Prone to inflammatory upsurges.
  • Highly responsive to new products.
  • A lot sensitive, tight and uncomfortable.
  • Fine pores with a trend toward dryness.
  • Easily wound up by shaving.

b. Oily Skin/Acne Prone

  • Greasy numbness with large, visible pores.
  • Skin breakouts with blackheads.
  • Shiny, especially on the nose and forehead.

c. Blend/ Normal Skin

a. For Dry/ Sensitive Skin

  1. The first step is cleansing. Clean your face using a moisturizing gel or foaming cleanser. Make sure to avoid bathing soaps, which tense and dry the skin. Wet, lather, and rinse with the aid of warm water.
  2. The second step is toning. Using a cotton ball, gently apply a toner to remove leftover drugs and to help better absorb a moisturizer.
  3. The third step is Moisturizing. Generously apply a super-hydrating moisturizer. Steer clear of fragranced products.
  4. The Last, fourth step is Exfoliating. Once in a week, doing so will remove dead skin cells and clean out pores by using a mild face scrub. For best results, mix your scrub with your face wash. Avoid delicate skin areas.

b. For Oily and Acne-Prone Skin

  1. Cleaning – Clean your face with a gentle clay cleanser. Make sure to avoid usual soaps, which tighten and dry the skin. Wet, lather, and rinse with warm water.
  2. Secondly for toning, use a cotton ball, gently apply a toner to remove remaining residue and to help better absorb the moisturizer.
  3. The third step is to Moisturize your skin, liberally apply an oil-free moisturizer. For extremely oily skin, try an oil-free/oil-absorbing moisturizer.
  4. The fourth step for owners of oily and acne-prone skin is exfoliating. Twice weekly, get rid of dead cells and clean out pores by using a gentle face scrub. Avoid delicate skin areas.

c. Routine for Combination/ Normal Skin

  1. For you cleaning of your face is extremely important, clean your face with a gel or foaming cleanser. Make sure to avoid conventional/ bathing soaps, which tighten and dry the skin. Wet, lather, and rinse with warm water.
  2. After cleansing the face, using a cotton ball, gently apply a toner to remove the remaining residue and to help better absorb your moisturizer.
  3. After toning, generously apply an all-purpose Moisturizer. If your skin is oily in some parts and dry in others, use a hydrating moisturizer for dry areas and an oil-free one for oily spots.
  4. The fourth step is Exfoliating, two times a week, remove dead cells and unclog pores by using a gentle face scrub. Avoid delicate skin areas.

d. For Mature and Aging Skin

  1. First clean your face with a moisturizing, creamy cleanser. Wet leather and rinse with warm water.
  2. using a cotton ball, gently apply a toner to remove the remaining residue and to help better absorb your moisturizer.
  3. For this type of skin, you need an extra-powerful moisturizer generously apply that on your face and neck. Apply targeted eye cream.
  4. Exfoliate your face once a week, remove dull, wrinkled skin by using a gentle face scrub. Avoid delicate skin areas.

Additional tip: Always use SPF as Ultraviolet rays from the sun transform the cells in your skin—on cloudy and cold days, too. These UV rays will become the reason for sunspots, wrinkles, sunburns, dry patches, moles, and even cancer. It’s important to protect your skin from these rays with SPF, whether it’s packed inside your daily moisturizer or added as an additional layer on the top of your skin will keep your skin hydrated.

If you’re only outside during the go back and forth or a quick lunch, then a lightweight SPF should meet your requirements, but if you hit the beach or are outside in direct light for extended periods of time (an hour or more), then you should consider something higher—SPF 30 will work best for you.
